Jacob...

Dear ladies and gentlemen

Pls post your response to the question below as a 'comment'.

With regards to the hitchhiker, what do you think Jacob might do next in the next part of the story?

  1. He would remain silent and wait for the hitchhiker to make his first move. After the hitchhiker has made his move, Jacob will attempt to stop the hitchhiker from causing any further damage although it is already done. The hitchhiker then escapes and Jacob is left with his 2 parents left dead and he will regret the incident for the rest of his life.

  2. The writer will only make his move when he sees the hitchhiker make his move, saving his parents and the hitchhiker running away.

  3. Jacob wouldn't do anything and think of an idea to let his parents know and escape at the same time. He might also kick the hitchhiker out of the car.

  4. Jacob will pretend to be innocent and will get his father to stop the car by the roadside because he feels nauseous. When they alight,Jacob will try to signal to his father the hitchhiker's bleeding hand. They will all run away and live happily ever after.

  5. I think that Jacob will try to convince himself that it was just his imagination. However, he won't be convinced and try to make an effort to get away from the hitchhiker, maybe fake an excuse to go to the toilet. Then, he might try to contact his parents to warn them about the hitchhiker.

  6. Jacob might stay silent and let his parents drive on and continue talking to the stranger. There is a possibility that the hitchhiker was just messing about with Jacob, and he may really be going to Ipswich but had been lying about his car breaking down.

  7. I think Jacob would try to tell his parents without letting Ian know by signaling but it might be too late, Ian had found out what he was trying to do. Then Ian would begin to attack and the two parents would die trying to protect Jacob but Jacob was dragged away after his parents were killed. After that Ian would go into hiding and with Jacob as a hostage, but soon Ian became hungry as slow ate Jacob but kept him alive...

  8. I think Jacob would take an object and hammer the hitchhiker unconscious, and hid the body in the boot. Then he would tell his parents what happened. After that, together they would throw his body into the sea at Southwold.

  9. The writer will find a way to tell the parents about his thoughts and they take action, starting to question the hitchhiker. Then the hitchhiker strikes, and the writer stops the hitchhiker. Then he gets away but is later caught by the police.

  10. I think that Jacob might try to get out of the car and run for his life or he might try to save his parents by warning them about the hitchhiker or manage to discreetly call the police which would arrive and intercept the car, the family would live with the trauma for the rest of their lives but were lucky to be alive.

  11. I think that he should tell his parents what he has been thinking about, and just hope that maybe his parents would believe him. So that they can pull over and ask the hitch hiker to get out of the car.

  12. He would ask his dad to pull over and say he is not feeling so good and get out of the car and pretend to be sick. When his parents come out to ask him if he is ok, he will tell them what the hitchhiker said. The parents will make the hitchhiker get out of the car and they will drive away, safe.

  14. I think Jacob should hint to his parents to get into a bad accident. If they do that they have a some
    chance to survive and escape.

  15. Jacob would try to warn his parents about it, only to be silently muffled to the point that her falls unconscious. Or at least that is what the hitchhiker thinks. Jacob acts as if he was unconscious, and silently pulls out his little notepad to write a warning to his parents, whenever the hitchhiker wasn't looking.

    Ending:

    1. Unfortunately, without any writing material, he wasn't able to warn his parents, whom were suffocated and stabbed to death by the hitchhiker, along with he himself.

    2. Luckily, Jacob was able to pass the note in the nick of time to his mother, who silently asked her husband to stop, and call the police. Jacob, mustered all the little courage he could gather, grabbed the cloth that was to be used to suffocate him and his parents, and suffocated the hitchhiker himself, making the procedure of calling the police easier. The hitchhiker was returned to the asylum, Jacob's family safe.

  16. Jacob will start thinking on how to get rid of the hitchhiker but still watching his move. After that he would just knock him out with something and push the hitchhiker out of the car.

  17. Jacob signalled her mother with a whistle. The car stopped. Jacob's mother picked up a dagger in the car compartment and tossed it to Jacob. With his ability to wield a dagger, he immediately assaulted the hitchhiker with the dagger, piercing through his clothing and the chair. His father opened the car door, pulling Jacob out of the car.

  18. Jacob will remain silent as long as possible. He may make an attempt to alert his parents about Ian's intentions to no avail. However, if he sees Ian making attempts to harm him, he might try to stop Ian but his efforts will prove futile as he is easily overpowered.

  19. Jacob might try to run away and inform the police about the hitchhiker. He might also try to inform his parents without the hitchhiker noticing. However he was too late and the hitchhiker attacked him first..

  20. Jacob would stay silent as he was afraid to say anything. Then, when the hitchhiker was about to strike, he would somehow defend himself and the hitchhiker would then escape from the care and run away. Jacob and his parents would then drive off quickly.

  21. Jacob would wait for the hitchhiker's next move. The hitchhiker took hold of the steering wheel of the car and tried to make them crashed. Sadly, they crashed and both his parents died first. The hitchhiker was not hurt at all. Jacob saw the hitchhiker before dying and the story ended with the hitchhiker's say, "join me, brother!"

  22. The hitchhiker then pulls out a knife with the hand he hid behind him, he proceeds to stab Jacob's father which then leaves a lifeless body. The then holds Jacob's mother with one hand before leaving her in the same state as the former. The hitchhiker starts to strangle Jacob with the latter waving his arms around to fight back. However, Jacob's efforts proved futile and he slowly stops waving his arms before finally losing consciousness. Finally seeing the face of God.

  23. I think jacob wil try to keep watch and be cautious of the hitchhiker's movement. He will try to find a chance to signal his parents without alerting the hitchhiker that there is something really wrong about the hitchhiker. After much struggle to signal his parents his parents finally noticed and in a split second jacob's father stopped the car and jacob kicked the hitchhiker off the car and they drove off.
